My Life as a King European launch details

Nintendo has announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King will be available in Europe on May 20, 2008 for 1,500 Wii Points (GBP 7 / EUR 10) from the WiiWare service. The title has been released in North America yesterday and received impressive reviews. According to various forum posts the game is around 10-15~ hours long, and is extremely addictive.

My Life as a King now available in North America

Nintendo’s WiiWare service has launched today across North America, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King has been released. The game is available for download from the service for 1,500 Wii Points. Here’s a snippet from Nintendo’s press release: “My Life as a King takes a legendary franchise and launches it into the realm of simulation gaming. Players are challenged to rebuild a kingdom, leading its young king on a path of discovery through an adventure bristling with mystery and intrigue.”

Today’s Famitsu issue revealed another batch of new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King additions:
- [100 Points] Castle Update
- [200 Points] Library: Allows your people to memorize race-specific abilities. Coming in June.
- [300 Points] 11 Dungeons Pack: Adds 11 new dungeons. Coming this month.
- [300 Points] Tower of Eternity: New dungeon - Once one of your adventurers beats the powerful creature that’s inside you gain an “unvaluable treasure”. Coming in June.

Square Enix reveals paid features for My Life as a King

Square Enix has revealed that extra features for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King will be sold for up to 300 Wii Points. These features include extra skins for the king, new dungeons, buildings and even a new race. The company didn’t give an official release date for these additions, but said they will announce one soon.

Square Enix is about to release Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King in one week, and thus decided to release a few new bits regarding the game: - The game supports 16:9. It’s important for them to mention it since the screenshots they released during the development stages were never in 16:9.
- You are able to use four different controllers to play the game, using one hand or two. It’s up to the player and his equipment.

My Life as a King dated in Japan

Nintendo has revealed Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King is a WiiWare launch game, and will be released on March 25, 2008 for the price of 1,500 Yen, along with eight other titles. Nintendo has also released the game’s official WiiWare trailer.

Some new Info on FF:CC My life as king

Nintendo Power’s April issue features an article on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, and a few tidbits have surfaced the web:

· The game seems to be more like “Sim City” than an old fashion Final Fantasy game.
· The game’s story takes place after the events of the original Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.
