Rumor had it that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII’s North American version has been leaked online, thus we decided to check. After a few minutes of searching we found out the rumor is true, and unfortunately a pirated version of the game exists. We kindly ask you, dear visitors, to be mature and respect the hard work Square Enix has put in the development: Please do not download the game nor post a link to it anywhere on our website and forums. Thank you.
Update: Forum user QBasic has informed us that this isn’t exactly a “leak”, since the pirated version is in fact Crisis Core: FFVII English Version that was released today. China usually releases Japanese and North American games a week early, so the pirates just “did their thing”.

Square Enix’s epic Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is about to be released in North America in less than a week, so it’s finally the time for gaming giant IGN to review the game. Here’s a snippet from the article: “And that’s that. Issues aside, Crisis Core is a great PSP game — no question. It honors Final Fantasy VII’s legacy. Even the game’s music, while not composed by Nobuo Uematsu, is charming and fits the overall style of the world (though some of Uematsu’s pieces do make a return and to absolutely stunning effect). I was sincerely moved by certain portions of the title and I suspect many others will feel the same. I wouldn’t dream of spoiling anything for eager players, but I will say that Crisis Core’s ending moments are a must see. I’d go so far as to call them brilliant.”
