Square Enix announced that Chocobo Dungeon, a game exclusivly for the Wii, will be released in Europe and PAL countries this autumn. This is once again later (as usual) then the North American release date, which is July 8th, which is next week already.

John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments:

“Chocobo has been a firm favourite with FINAL FANTASY fans for years, and players will be able to see him take centre stage and come to life in his very own adventure.

FINAL FANTASY FABLES: Chocobo’s Dungeon will appeal to fans of the FINAL FANTASY series along with younger Nintendo Wii owners looking for an engrossing adventure.”

Square Enix has announced that Wii exclusive Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon will be released across North America on July 8, 2008. For those who never heard of the game, here’s the story taken from the official press release: “Chocobo and Cid, FINAL FANTASY mainstays-turned-treasure hunters, are magically transported to a mysterious town whose people’s memories are lost with each bell toll of the clocktower. One day, a strange boy named Raffaello arrives and creates dungeons of memories to help the townspeople remember who they are. Now it’s up to Chocobo to journey through the dungeons and retrieve everyone’s memories!”

Gaming website Siliconera has found out game retailer Gamefly has two online pages for Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon and Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire. Game Informer’s April issue is out and confirms that Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire will be released in North America this summer. No exact date has been given yet.
